Better Cotton Initiative (“Iniciativa de mejor algod\u00f3n”) is a global non-profit organization. Specifically, it is the world\u2019s largest sustainable cotton programme. It does invest in improving labour and social conditions in cotton-growing countries, as well as cotton growing conditions, producing cotton better for farmers, the environment and the future of the sector.<\/p>\n

Tejidos Reb\u00e9s is authorised to Product Manufacturer for LENZING™ ECOVERO™ and has fabrics of certified viscose.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The GOTS certification is the world\u2019s leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed by independent third-party certification of the entire textile supply chain.<\/p>\n

With this certification, audits review the traceability of the entire production chain, from the creation of the fibre to the final product\/garment. Each part of the process must be properly documented and audited. All parties involved must have their GOTS certification, in order to label on the final garment.<\/p>\n

The European Flax\u00ae certification is regulated by CELC (European Confederation of Flax and Hemp), that is the only agricultural industry European organization that federate all stages of life for production and processing of flax and Hemp. The fabrics certified by European Flax\u00ae are made with fibres produced on Occidental Europe: France, Belgium and Netherlands.<\/p>\n

Tejidos Reb\u00e9s have a European Flax\u00ae certification, and we have different references made with European fibre certificated.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The initiative SEAQUAL get together a single person, organizations and businesses to help, to clean the oceans, to make us think about the problem of sea plastic waste.<\/p>\n

All sea plastic processing by SEAQUAL INITIATIVE has been made in Europe. This sea plastic is recollected by oceanic cleanings on Europe, Mediterranean Sea and on the west coast of Africa. Later, the plastic is classified, is cleaned and is reprocessed on facilities approved by SEAQUAL INITIATIVE on Certificated yarn<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

All fabric certificated like SEAQUAL, should be contain a 20% minimum of SEAQUAL, yarn.<\/p>\n

The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX\u00ae certificate is the most widely used eco-label in the world. In order to ensure that textile products labelled with this certification do not contain substances that could be harmful to health.<\/p>\n

Tejidos Reb\u00e9s has the Type Certificate Class I \u2013 Baby, which is the most restrictive classification<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The GRS certification is part of a set of voluntary international standards. This organization sets the requirements for third-party certification of recycled inputs. The GRS also includes chemical restrictions and social and environmental processing criteria.<\/p>\n

The Organic Content Standard (OCS) is an international voluntary standard that sets out the requirements for certification of certified organic inputs. The objective of the SCO is to increase the production of organic agriculture. An OCS Blended product may have a minimum of 5% and a maximum of 94% certified content<\/strong>. Whereas an OCS 100 product may have a minimum of 95% and a maximum of 100% certified content.<\/p>\n
